Job postings in China up by 24% over the last 8 months

Job postings in China up by 24% in August over January, finds GlobalData. Despite layoff concerns and the prevailing geopolitical tensions, job postings in China increased by 24% from 31,305 in January 2022 to 38,912 in August 2022, reveals the analysis of the Job Analytics Database of GlobalData, a leading data and analytics company.

In 2020, hiring activity bounced back and the trend continued through 2021 with May registering record high job postings. However, hiring activity was impacted again in the initial months of 2022 but stabilized soon after.
