Indian students’ interest in studying in Australia exceeds expectations

Digital education hub targeting Indian

Launched in 2020, the program is aimed at promoting Australia as a world class education destination while building a sustainable platform for the sector’s recovery in India.

The program delivers digital tools, tailored content and resources, virtual events, and promotional campaign activity for prospective Indian students via the Study Australia website. This year, the team launched a Career Matcher Tool, a new suite of microcredentials, the Study Australia Industry Experience Program, Study Australia Masterclasses with Expo 2020 Dubai, Shine with Australia and much more.

In the last financial year, the team exceeded all targets, including a 729% year-on-year increase in website visitors from India (1.5 million unique visitors from India), 91,000 course searches, and more than 14,400 leads to Australian institutions.

The India Digital Education Hub is gearing up for the flagship Study Australia Showcase and Study Australia Entrepreneurship Challenge initiatives in August and September respectively – watch this space for updates.
