A world renown Electronic company is seeking a Assistant General Manager for their expanding team in China.

Job Description:

Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with superiors, and staff members as necessary.
Monitor and manage production KPI’s.
Develop & implement operational improvements.
Ensure non value added activity is reduced in all processes.
Manage change to meet current business requirements.
Implement manufacturing improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory, increase throughput and minimize costs.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering & technical drawings.
Have a working understanding of production planning & scheduling.
Setting procedures in the workplace to ensure effective implementation and adherence among each and every employee in the organization.
Address any staff discipline or grievance issue, maintaining appropriate records in accordance with company procedures.
Responsible for hiring key employees inside the organization, as well as supervising and evaluating employees and their job performance.

Qualifications:

University degree; sound managerial skill and experiences in factory management is a must; Technical inclination, Engineering degree is a big plus.
Working experiences – Currently in a management position in preferably foreign companies, with a minimum of 5 years in factory management.
Fluency in English and Chinese is a MUST, both written and spoken.
People management, excellent communication skill, knowledge of government regulations, and proficiency in PC.
Needs to have a strong leadership background and must know how to handle problems quickly and efficiently.
Accepts full responsibility for managing an activity.
Be able to get things done and make things happen to achieve the aims of production and the business.
Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timeline and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
