Asia Pacific Business Outlook 2013 (APBO) Forum to be held in Melbourne in March

Melbourne will be the host of the 3rd Asia Pacific Business Outlook 2013 Forum and over 500 attendees from the Asia Pacific region countries are expected to attend this major event on 20 March 2013. The Forum program will bring together government, business and thought leaders to discuss “Australia in the Asian Century” with a focus on economic linkages with its neighbours in SE Asia, India, and China.

Organised by Australian Business Forum (ABF), the 3rd Asia Pacific Business Outlook Forum is a major national and international business event that will provide attendees with insight into the key issues that will shape the future of relations with Australia as well as encouraging and facilitating more in-depth understanding of Australia’s major trading partners and the implications and opportunities for the global and regional economies.

When commenting on APBO Forum, Prime Minister of Australia The Hon Julia Gillard MP said, “It is essential that industry leaders and government work cooperatively and flexibly in facing the challenges ahead. APBO 2013 Forum will provide a platform including keynote speakers and in depth panel discussions with Government Ministers, captains of industry, leading entrepreneurs, scholars, researchers and corporate leaders and has been carefully structured to generate discussion and debate on issues of strategic importance that will shape the future of trade and commerce with Australia and the region..

The Asia Pacific region and China share a strong and rapidly escalating economic relationship that through further strengthening and deepening will deliver sustained trade and mutually beneficial long term economic prosperity.
