Job Description:
Optimize production operations and processes by identifying opportunities for productivity improvements and waste reduction, and plan, develop; direct the implementation of such project while accomplishing quality, service and cost objectives of the business.
Direct the manufacturing with emphasis on sound safety practices, maximum people involvement, meeting production schedules, quality specifications and overall customer expectations at lowest possible cost.
Establish the right environment and organization by leading, selecting and building strong innovative manufacturing teams, who are change oriented and capable of planning and implementing programs that will dramatically improve manufacturing efficiencies and operations.
Qualifications:
B.S. in Engineering/Industrial Engineering and Management or other scientific education.
At least 10 years related experience. Operation management experience in plastic or packaging industry is a plus.
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
In depth knowledge of the production processes and process technology.
Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
