A company makes commercial and industrial refrigeration components and has plants all over the world. They are looking for an Managing Director for their plant in Zhejiang.
Job Description:
Looking for a strong leader to assess and improve processes – improve plant performance.
Managing Director would need to build a team, and act as a mentor to help develop employees careers.
Gain engineering and new product approvals. Responsible for driving product development and realization.
Maintain exacting quality and safety standards.
Work closely with HR and Finance in improving processes and implement.
Oversee implementation of ERP and new information systems.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have backgrounds in refrigeration, HVAC or in hard/durable goods manufacturing, compressors, products that require welding, metal fabrication, compressors etc.
Applicants should GM/MD level strong on the technical side of manufacturing.
Strong P&L and working capital forecasting abilities.
Solid understanding of local VAT and fa piaos.
Excellent project scheduling and management abilities.
Strong on IT side – ERP and new information systems.
> 5 years experience as a GM in China – a seasoned professional.
Good experience in gaining engineering and new product approvals. Product Development and Realization.
Exacting quality and safety standards.
Ability to build and develop teams + act as a mentor + good leadership skills.
Able to work closely with HR and Finance.
Fluency in Chinese strongly preferred.
