One of the top Lean companies in the world is looking for an APAC Lean Transactional Manager in China.
Job Description:
Drive ever-improving results by leveraging Lean tools, consulting skills, and change management process.
Assist APAC and/or regional leadership in the development of a Company Business Systems roadmap.
Directly provide formal and informal Lean training and coaching.
Assist in achieving APAC Policy Deployment and Strategic Plan objectives.
Continue to evolve Lean tools.
Ensure productive kaizen events.
Promote and facilitate diagnosis of work flow impediments and other wastes throughout the business, and provide expert counsel on appropriate tools to eliminate them.
Improve Lean training and facilitation skills by pursuing certification in Company Business Systems tools.
Promote and facilitate associate development in various Lean tools, lean production, and kaizen leadership.
Benchmark and incorporate best practices.
Qualifications:
An academic degree (BSc) in Business Administration/Economics, chemistry or equivalent work experience is required. MBA a plus.
Had significant experience within a Sales, Support or Service function and an affinity to transactional and logistic process improvement.
Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a “general manager’s” point of view.
Knowledge and experience with DBS or other continuous improvement systems preferred. Ability to design, develop, and implement a Company Business Systems roadmap for an operating business.
Track record in using lean and/or six sigma principles.
Consultancy Approach and experience with change management.
Strong communication and influencing skills and the ability to work successfully with all levels of the organization.
Excellent problem solving and strong training and facilitation skills.
Good time and project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Good writing and administrative skills, including MS office skills.
Highly self motivated, enthusiastic and ability to create followership.

Logical and creative thinker.

Willingness to travel extensively (approx. 50%).
