Job Description:
Initial focus of this position is to teach and train New Product Development teams in Asia the key DFSS tools and certify them as Green Belts.
Design of Experiments (DOE).
Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA).
Analysis of Variance.
ANOVA Gauge R&R.
Correlations.
Regression Analysis.
Quality Function Deployment (QFD).
Also, this position will mentor and train engineers through projects.
Finally, this position will lead improvements of current Engineering processes and practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Engineering, master degree a plus.
6-sigma DFSS master black belt certification.
8 – 10 years of relevant experience: new product development, R&D, Quality Engineering.
Industrial high volume manufacturing environment.
Extensive experience in leading and implementing DFSS, Robustness Engineering, upfront Reliability & APQP, with a demonstrated ability to translate theory into practical reliability improvement within multi-functional product development teams.
Direct experience in implementing DFSS, APQP, Reliability planning & execution, product qualification & testing, early supplier involvement, quality technologies, manufacturing quality & supplier quality systems are preferred.
Good communication, listening and interpersonal skills; English & mandarin.
