Class of 2011 IB Results from Kilmore International School

The Kilmore International School (TKIS) has received an outstanding achievement and is extremely proud of all its Class of 2011 students.

TKIS School Captain, Yeon Ju Lee gained a perfect IB score of 45, an outstanding ranking ATAR of 99.95. Local student, Ishka Speer has got a re-mark and achieved a perfect IB score of 45 points as well, which titled Kilmore International School 2 perfect IB score of 45 points. 

Local student Taleah Brown earned IB scores of 44 points (99.80) along with (Nicole) Weiyu He from China. Six other students gained ATAR scores of 99.55, and overall, more than 19 students scored above the magical IB 40 points. TKIS graduates have already received offers from a number of top-ranking universities.

It was with great excitement that we learnt of the achievements of our Class of 2011. We had predicted that our graduates would do well and they have certainly matched our expectations.

Our Class of 2011 achieved the following:

* Over 10 percent scored within the top 1 percent in Australia

* Over 30 students scored within the top 5 percent of all Australian students

* Over 50 percent of our students achieved a place in the top 10 percent of Australian students

* And over 75 percent of our students are ranked within the top 20 percent of Australian students

This is an outstanding achievement and we are extremely proud of all our Class of 2011. Our graduates are already receiving offers from top-ranking universities. We already know of two successful applications to Oxford University. We will share further news as it becomes available.
