Australian suppliers to the sustainable urban development sector can benefit from increased access to export opportunities in markets such as China, India and the ASEAN countries through the Australian Urban Systems (AUS) industry cluster.

The initiative, which is now managed by the Industry Capability Network (ICN) in Victoria, promotes and facilitates the engagement of Australian firms into international markets.

AUS has helped member companies to win more than $50 million in contracts with sustainable urbanisation projects world-wide since 2005, including the successful delivery of more than 20 projects throughout China.

ICN’s Melbourne office holds AUS Information Seminars every three months which companies are invited to attend to find out more about the ways that AUS can help them – booking details below.

ICN CEO Peter Yates said that AUS supports firms that may otherwise struggle to access these large and challenging global markets:

“AUS helps small to medium firms target new export opportunities that they may otherwise have found impossible to access, either through lack of company size, resources or other factors.”

Leveraging off Australia’s global reputation for having some of the world’s most liveable and sustainable cities, AUS members can now also benefit from ICN’s valuable connections into the targeted international markets.

AUS is a Victorian Government and private sector initiative formed to promote Australian urbanisation related technologies, products and services into export markets. The Industry Capability Network (ICN) is an independent organisation that assists Australian and New Zealand companies to access new business opportunities, major projects and export markets.
