A worldwide leading manufacturer of precision instruments for chemical analysis European company is seeking a Operation Manager for their expanding business in China.
Job Description:
Participate in formulating & administering of Company policies and developing of long-term goals and objectives.
Assist COO in conducting monthly, quarterly, & annual Business reviews with the team. And lead implementation of key Business Strategy programs and activities. Monitor and report progress, highlight risks, delays, and opportunities to COO.
Completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; coordinate with all teams; monitoring progress; problem-solving; making adjustments to plans.
Assist in preparing management meetings, including tracking, monitoring and following up the progress of open action items, drafting the agenda, setting the timetable to owners for meeting material preparation, and record minutes of every meeting.
Set up Sales offices in China from research of marketing situation, identify right locations, lease negotiation, hiring staffs, file necessary documents with local authorities till full operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master degree in business management or related disciplines.
Minimum 5 years experience in business management at senior level supporting C-level Executives in a multi-national company, develop sales offices in different locations of China with keen perception in local market trends of our industry and competitors.
Understanding the key business issues that exist in the China instrument products industry. These include, but are not limited to, knowledge of strategic and operational planning, economics, state’s strategy and local laws, marketing, cost analysis, and trends in the industry.
Fluency in written & spoken English & Chinese (Mandarin); Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in the software programs, not limited to Word, /Excel/PowerPoint/Visio/ Adobe Acrobat/database system.
