A leading chemical company which is based in Guangzhou. They are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their middle management team.

Job Description:

To provide effective leadership for the finance team in China.
To develop support the Finance Function in developing high quality finance resources.
To support the General Manager in ensuring that the required performance is delivered by the operating companies, and that all Group governance requirements are met.
To specific overall responsible for overall transactions (AR/AP/Cash transactions/Journals/inter-company billings/Reconciliations/Hyperion data input.
To participate in the formulation and implementation of the company’s strategic plans particularly those pertaining to finance and systems.
To ensure that the company complies with the statutory (include legal), professional and JMH group requirements in the areas of accounting, finance, computing, company secretarial and insurance.

Qualifications:

At least 8 years of post qualification experience in multinational industrial groups with exposure to manufacturing organizations.
Professional qualification in accountancy (ICAEW, ICAI, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) for companies above US$ 10 M turnover and for other companies minimum a graduate in accounting or similar business qualification.
Strong management accounting skills.
Strong awareness on IT for business, exposure to ERP systems and standard costing systems.
Excellent language skills in English and Mandarin – both written and verbal-combined with good communication skills.
Culturally aware and able to work in diverse teams.
