A leading US company in automotive industry is seeking a professional in Supplier Development.
Job Description:
Manage team work, doing SD strategy, planning.
Carry out audits and assessments, ensuring that the supplier is capable at producing according to specifications.
Ensure suppliers are capable of making sample test by telling, training and follow up Sampling approval.
Visit suppliers according to schedules.
Assure the suppliers are aware of all specified requirements according demands and specifications including product and system.
Assure compliance of the suppliers Quality Environment and Health and Safety system with demands.
Convince the suppliers to make improvements where needed.
To follow up on supplier performance.
Qualifications:
Focus on key commodity supplier development across China.
Support in finalizing new suppliers.
Work in projects and partially manage these projects with new suppliers.
Analyze the supplier production process.
Work with suppliers for continuous improvement.
Participate in analysis within the technical section.
Evaluate existing suppliers performance through site visits.
Effectively handle suppliers’ complaints, by checking corresponding administration and evaluating the effectiveness of corrective actions.
